Good morning everyone! Did you have a wonderful weekend? I felt a little fluffy from my weekend activities and decided to start the day with a Tabata workout.

The tabata timer works really well for this. I did 4 rounds of the following exercises:

  • burpees
  • squats
  • skipping
  • mountain climbers

I had a partner, but I’m pretty sure she just thought I was silly for flopping around in the yard. Jenni, c’mon throw the frisbee!

Then I followed that up with a breakfast for champions: leftover brown rice mixed with 4 egg whites topped with salsa and hot sauce. Efficient use of leftovers if I say so myself.

Now I’m off to a magical place! No, I’m just going home while the husband is on a work trip. But I’m super excited see my family!

I tried to take a better bathroom selfie, but it’s awkward with people walking in and out. I guess I’m just not blogger hard core enough. Also, anyone else only travel in comfy clothes? I thought about looking nice, then decided that my family wouldn’t care. And I have a hard time carrying a giant purse for my computer+lotion+water+snacks+books without dislocating my shoulder.

PS- I heard that these Victory protein bars are really good. I had one for lunch and confirm that they are JUST AS GOOD as the beloved Quest bars, though they aren’t any cheaper.
